About Canadian Legacy Project:
Canadian Legacy Project was created because many of our Canadian veterans are living in poverty and do not have the basic necessities in food, clothing and shelter. The Canadian Legacy Project was developed to be an organization that advocates for our veterans and support them by creating programs and events to help improve their everyday lives. Canadian Legacy Project is a registered charity working throughout Canada (registration #82478 8202 RR0001) and is a 100% volunteer managed and directed.
Armyworx’s Role
At Armyworx we believe in supporting the communities where we work, and believe those who have stood on guard for Canada who are living in poverty need our support. There is no reason for those who have put their lives on line for all of Canada should go without and we want to be part of the solution. Armyworx will donate 1 Dollar for every service completed to Canadian Legacy Project a charity dedicated to supporting our veterans in need.
Supporting the Homes For Heroes Project
The issue of homelessness among Canadian Armed Forces veterans is an area of increasing concern. Unfortunately over 2,500 Canadian veterans are homeless and have not been successful in transitioning from their military career to healthy and productive civilian lives. The majority of these homeless veterans are unemployed and many are trying to deal with mental and physical injuries related to their years of service.
The Homes For Heroes Foundation is an initiative that addresses the issue of veterans experiencing homelessness in Canada. Homes For Heroes aims to help those who were willing to give their all to protect us and maintain our freedoms, get back to a place where they feel supported and engaged.
